MYOB PocketAccounts is a Palm OS® software application for handheld devices that extends the reach of MYOB accounting software beyond your office space and out onto the road.

Running on a Palm OS handheld computing device, PocketAccounts captures sales and delivery information (including customer billing name, delivery address, item descriptions and payment details) and records the time you or your employees have spent on individual tasks.
Then, back in the office, PocketAccounts simply updates your MYOB accounting system with the sales and time billing information you’ve collected. No need to take notes, no need to fill in forms and no need to type in any information.
Using MYOB PocketAccounts in conjunction with your MYOB accounting software increases the accuracy of your business data, saves time by eliminating double data entry, and even improves cash flow by reducing the time between the completion of tasks and the issuing of invoices.
Setting up PocketAccounts in the office
PocketAccounts is set up and administered from the same PC that runs your MYOB accounting software. Controlling the input of information from the desktop prevents changes being made on the handheld which might affect the successful synchronisation of MYOB PocketAccounts and your MYOB accounting software.
Using PocketAccounts on the road
Information is entered into the handheld device by 'tapping'’ an area on the screen with a stylus pen. Once you’ve learned the technique, tapping through a PocketAccounts sale is actually easier - and faster - than recording a sale with pen and paper. Other information can be 'written'’ in on the lower section of the handheld screen.
Designed with typical 'on the road'’ sales and time billing situations in mind, the PocketAccounts screens present the optimum amount of information. If more detail is required, just tap through to the appropriate screen.
Multi-user ready
PocketAccounts is issued with a single user licence, and you can buy as many additional licences as you want. For instance, if your business employs sales reps or tradespeople, you can have each employee recording their individual sale or job straight into your MYOB accounting system on their own handheld - making their time more productive and freeing up your accounts area from all their paperwork.
